Fixed rate charges in debt actions (undefended claims)

In the above table if the full amount is recouped, then you should receive all of your outlay except for the letter before action costs for claims up to £2,000.00. For claims over £2,000 you should recoup £80.00 - £100.00 towards your time costed costs which will not exceed the charge for 2 hours' time (currently £170 per hour + VAT)

In addition to the above, if we need to enter Judgment for one of the following reasons then the following charges apply:

In default of an acknowledgement of service	£ 22.00

Again you should recoup these costs from the Defendant in due course if the judgment is paid.

These fees are payable in respect of the work that is to be carried out in asking the court to enforce as per the procedure only. Further work (e.g. in relation to the collection of the debt) will be carried out on a time costed basis unless agreed in writing otherwise.
